Ai Ogura Rebut Pole Position di MotoGP Ceko 2026

Pembalap Ai Ogura berhasil merebut posisi start terdepan setelah menjadi yang tercepat dalam sesi kualifikasi MotoGP Ceko 2026 di Sirkuit Brno pada Sabtu, 20 Juni 2026 sore WIB.

Dilansir dari sport.detik.com, Ogura mencatatkan waktu 1 menit 51,139 detik pada menit-menit akhir sesi Q2, mengungguli Fabio Di Giannantonio di posisi kedua dan Francesco Bagnaia di urutan ketiga.

Sesi kualifikasi yang berlangsung dalam suhu lintasan mencapai 40 derajat Celsius tersebut memaksa para pembalap sempat kembali ke pit untuk mengganti setelan ban setelah babak pertama berjalan tiga menit.

Pembalap Ducati Lenovo, Francesco Bagnaia, mengamankan baris depan di posisi ketiga setelah sebelumnya sempat memimpin catatan waktu pada sesi latihan hari Jumat.

"I think if you all do two laps here, you will start to smile like me," kata Francesco Bagnaia, Pembalap Ducati Lenovo kepada media seperti dilansir dari crash.net.

Bagnaia memuji kondisi aspal baru di Sirkuit Brno yang memberikan tingkat cengkeraman (grip) tinggi, sehingga membantunya mengatasi kendala utama pada ban belakang.

"Because it’s a fantastic track. You can really enjoy every single lap, every single corner, it’s a real track and it’s very fantastic to ride here.

“They also did a fantastic job with the asphalt, because the level of grip is high.

“You feel like you are doing 63 degrees of lean angle in every corner.

“For us, it’s fantastic, because you can use all the performance, all the power of these MotoGP bikes, which you can’t use in many other tracks." ujar Bagnaia.

Ia menambahkan bahwa masalah grip ban belakang yang dihadapinya langsung teratasi setelah timnya memasang ban tipe lunak (soft) saat melakukan simulasi.

"My problem is not the rear pushing the front – Diggia has this problem," kata Bagnaia.

"My problem is that I don’t have enough grip, so I’m on the opposite side." ujar Bagnaia.

Menurutnya, tingkat cengkeraman tinggi di Brno sangat membantu performa motornya meski sempat mengalami kendala dengan ban medium.

"I’m still having this problem in some corners with the medium rear, but as soon as I put the Soft on, it was gone. Far, far better.

“But I think with the work done today, we have improved these kind of things. We tried something we’ve never tested before and it helped a lot.

“For tomorrow, I think we will keep going to make another step.

“On the first time attack, I was straight into Q2, then on the second time attack I pushed more but my lap wasn’t fantastic. So I still have some margin.

“It’s true that Aprilia at this moment are stronger than us, but we are working." kata Bagnaia.
