Liverpool Mengincar Bradley Barcola dan Yan Diomande Guna Memperkuat Lini Serang

Liverpool dilaporkan tengah gencar memperkuat lini serang mereka pada bursa transfer musim panas ini dengan mengincar dua penyerang sayap sekaligus, yakni Yan Diomande dari RB Leipzig dan Bradley Barcola dari Paris Saint-Germain.

Klub raksasa Liga Inggris tersebut berniat melakukan perombakan besar setelah kepergian Mohamed Salah, serta adanya ketidakpastian mengenai masa depan Cody Gakpo di Anfield. Manajemen klub bahkan disebut siap menggelontorkan dana gabungan mencapai 200 juta poundsterling demi mengamankan tanda tangan kedua bintang muda tersebut.

Pakar transfer terkemuka, Fabrizio Romano, mengungkapkan bahwa ketertarikan Liverpool terhadap Barcola dan Diomande bukanlah sebuah pilihan alternatif, melainkan upaya perburuan ganda yang dilakukan secara simultan.

"Internally at Liverpool, they are discussing Barcola every single week, it’s a player they appreciate, a player they wanted already in summer 2025, but it wasn’t possible. So, they love Barcola!" kata Fabrizio Romano.

Romano menambahkan bahwa proses negosiasi untuk kedua pemain berada dalam tahap yang sangat berbeda, di mana tawaran resmi untuk Diomande sudah dilayangkan, sementara ketertarikan pada Barcola masih berupa diskusi internal yang intens.

"It's just internal conversations… nothing advanced. He was a target in 2025 and remains a name mentioned on daily basis in 2026." ujar Fabrizio Romano.

Meskipun demikian, peluang Liverpool untuk memboyong Barcola tetap terbuka lebar apabila manajemen Paris Saint-Germain bersedia membuka pintu keluar bagi pemain asal Prancis itu pada jendela transfer kali ini.

"This could depend on different opportunities or exits, we will see what happens. I will never come on here and say it’s one or the other player because I’m telling you what I know and it’s that Liverpool are maintaining contact for Diomande and Barcola - it’s at completely different stages because Diomande there’s already a bid and they are talking to the agents but for Barcola it’s an internal feeling they have, internally at Liverpool they are discussing about Barcola every single week. They wanted him ideally in summer 2025 but was not possible.

If PSG open the doors to an exit later this summer, Liverpool could be there. It’s a name they keep mentioning at the club whilst they negotiate with Diomande." ucap Fabrizio Romano.

Di sisi lain, mantan bek legendaris Liverpool, Jamie Carragher, turut memberikan pandangannya mengenai performa luar biasa yang ditunjukkan oleh Yan Diomande, terutama penampilannya yang memukau bersama Pantai Gading di Piala Dunia 2026.

"I'm not someone who is watching RB Leipzig every week," kata Jamie Carragher kepada Sky Sports.

Menurut Carragher, pemain berusia 19 tahun tersebut memiliki dampak yang luar biasa di kompetisi Liga Jerman dan menunjukkan potensi besar sebagai penyerang sayap modern.

"But he's had a big impact in the German league, there is no doubt about that." ujar Jamie Carragher.

Carragher juga menyoroti bagaimana kontribusi fisik dan statistik performa Diomande di turnamen internasional menjadi daya tarik utama bagi klub peminat.

"You can see in his numbers and his stats, and I thought he was fantastic in the first game of the World Cup. Less so in the second game, but still, he was a real danger — he set up the goal for his side there." tutur Jamie Carragher.

Meskipun masih sangat muda, Diomande dinilai memiliki seluruh atribut fisik yang dibutuhkan untuk bersaing di level tertinggi sepak bola Inggris.

"I think what you are buying is potential. It is not what he is right now — he is a 19-year-old kid. He is a young man. But when you look at him, physically, he looks like he has all of those attributes." tambah Jamie Carragher.

Karakteristik permainan cepat dan kuat yang dimiliki Diomande bahkan dinilai sangat mirip dengan pilar kesuksesan lini depan Liverpool di masa lalu.

"You think of the success that Liverpool have had in the past with powerful, quick wide men — Salah, Mane — he certainly looks like he has those types of traits." tegas Jamie Carragher.

Selain fokus pada perburuan Barcola dan Diomande, perhatian bursa transfer di Liga Inggris juga mengarah pada incaran klub lain seperti incaran sayap asal Chile, Dario Osorio, yang disebut-sebut sebagai penerus Alexis Sanchez.

Direktur Teknik Midtjylland, Kristian Kjaer, membenarkan adanya minat nyata dari sejumlah klub Premier League, termasuk Arsenal dan Bournemouth, terhadap pemain berbakat tersebut.

"We know that Arsenal have been looking into Osorio, but we also know other clubs in the Premier League have done the same," kata Kristian Kjaer dilansir dari laporan The Standard.

Persaingan ketat untuk mendapatkan tanda tangan Osorio diperkirakan akan memicu pergerakan agresif dari klub-klub papan atas Inggris.

"I also think it is well known that Bournemouth looked into him historically. There are other clubs in the Premier League also looking into him." ujar Kristian Kjaer.

Kjaer menilai Osorio memiliki etos kerja yang sangat cocok dengan kultur sepak bola Inggris berkat kemampuannya yang seimbang dalam menyerang maupun bertahan.

"In my opinion, he serves the Premier League very, very good because he has a hard-working mentality. His defensive transition runs are amazing, his top speed is amazing. Left-footed right winger can go to the right and to the left of his direct opponent." ulas Kristian Kjaer.

Dengan seluruh kemampuan komplit yang dimilikinya, Osorio diprediksi mampu memberikan dampak instan dan perbedaan besar bagi tim mana pun yang berhasil merekrutnya.

"He has the full package, seen as the next Alexis Sanchez in Chile. I can see him making a difference in the Premier League." pungkas Kristian Kjaer.
