Arsenal Hadapi Paris Saint-Germain dalam Final Liga Champions di Budapest

Klub sepak bola Inggris Arsenal bertanding melawan juara bertahan Paris Saint-Germain asal Prancis dalam babak final Liga Champions di Stadion Puskas Arena, Budapest, Hongaria, pada Sabtu, 30 Mei 2026.

Pertandingan final ini diprediksi akan berjalan sedikit lebih ketat dan berhati-hati dibandingkan laga semifinal PSG sebelumnya.

"Expect a slightly cagier affair in the final." lanjut Luke Brown.

Laga ini menjadi sangat krusial bagi Arsenal yang tercatat sebagai satu-satunya tim yang telah memainkan lebih dari 200 pertandingan di kompetisi ini tanpa pernah mengangkat trofi sejak era Liga Champions dimulai pada tahun 1992.

"This is not quite unstoppable force meets immovable object, but it’s pretty damn close." tulis Luke Brown.

Skuat asuhan Mikel Arteta melaju ke final setelah mengalahkan Atletico Madrid di babak semifinal, yang merupakan tim dengan jumlah pertandingan terbanyak kedua di bawah Arsenal tanpa raihan trofi.

Luke Brown kemudian menyusun tim gabungan ideal dari kedua klub dengan mempertahankan hubungan antarpemain yang selama ini menjadi kekuatan utama masing-masing tim.

"Exactly three hours until kick-off and it feels like the calm before the storm — hopefully not literally." ujar Luke Brown.

Di sektor penjaga gawang, David Raya dari Arsenal dipilih daripada Matvey Safonov dari PSG karena performa impresifnya sepanjang musim.

"It's sunny, a bit muggy actually." tutur Luke Brown.

Lini belakang didominasi oleh bek tengah Arsenal, William Saliba dan Gabriel, sedangkan posisi bek sayap diisi oleh duo dinamis PSG, Nuno Mendes dan Achraf Hakimi.

"Right, that's enough of the weather." kata Luke Brown.

Untuk lini tengah, Declan Rice bergabung dengan dua pilar PSG, Vitinha dan Joao Neves, untuk mengendalikan permainan.

Meskipun Bukayo Saka memiliki talenta besar, Luke Brown lebih memilih trio penyerang PSG demi menjaga keselarasan rotasi lini depan.

Penjaga gawang David Raya dinilai tampil sangat kokoh berkat perlindungan dari kemitraan bek tengah di depannya.

"In defence, the shot-stopping brilliance of Raya cannot be separated from the stubborn centre-back partnership that has protected him all season long." kata Luke Brown.

Saliba dan Gabriel dinilai saling melengkapi dengan sangat baik dalam menghalau serangan maupun membangun permainan dari belakang.

"Gabriel and Saliba complement each other brilliantly; while one scraps, blocks and clears, the other sweeps, covers and builds with the ball." puji Luke Brown.

Kedua bek tengah Arsenal tersebut juga dikenal sangat kuat dalam duel satu lawan satu.

"Both are equally strong in the tackle and imposing in the one-vs-one situations when called upon." lanjut Luke Brown.

Sementara itu, Mendes dan Hakimi di kubu PSG aktif membantu serangan dan kembali bertahan secara selaras dalam sistem cair Luis Enrique.

"Either side of them, Mendes and Hakimi crash forward and track back in sync, and both are attuned to the other’s position in Luis Enrique’s fluid system." papar Luke Brown.

"Rice brings his athleticism and protective presence in midfield, while Vitinha and Neves constantly pass and move, pulling the opposition apart and creating the spaces into which Rice can stride." urai Luke Brown.

Pergerakan Doue, Dembele, dan Kvaratskhelia dari sisi sayap dinilai akan menjadi ancaman besar bagi pertahanan lawan.

"Doue and Dembele also drop into midfield, while Kvaratskhelia is his usual destructive self off the left, rounding off a nightmare of rotations and raw running power that tempts defences out of their shape before smashing through." ulas Luke Brown.

Luke Brown menegaskan bahwa kekuatan utama kedua finalis ini terletak pada pertahanan rapat Arsenal dan serangan bebas PSG.

"You could argue Saka has the talent to break into the front three, or that Pacho could step into the back four." kata Luke Brown.

Kiper PSG Matvey Safonov sebenarnya tampil mengesankan sejak menggeser Lucas Chevalier pada Desember lalu, namun posisinya di tim gabungan ini tetap di bawah Raya.

Kehadiran Neves dan Vitinha di lini tengah akan mendikte permainan, sekaligus memberikan keleluasaan bagi Rice untuk bergerak maju membantu serangan.

"PSG’s dynamic full-backs have to start." kata Luke Brown.

Gelandang asal Inggris tersebut juga memiliki keunggulan ekstra melalui eksekusi bola mati yang mematikan.

"In central defence, Saliba and Gabriel edge out Marquinhos and Pacho, although Gabriel must be alert to cover the space left behind by Mendes’s lung-bursting runs forward." tambah Luke Brown.

Saka, Dembele, dan Kvaratskhelia dilaporkan sempat melewatkan beberapa pertandingan musim ini karena cedera, namun kini telah kembali bugar sepenuhnya.

"Neves and Vitinha can dictate the play from midfield, allowing the tireless Rice to push further forward." tutur Luke Brown.

Raya yang menjadi salah satu pemain kunci dalam kesuksesan Arsenal menjuarai liga domestik akhirnya dipilih mengungguli Safonov.

"The England midfielder also has that deadly set-piece delivery in his armoury." puji Luke Brown.

Meskipun Marquinhos dan Willian Pacho tampil kuat untuk PSG, duet Saliba-Gabriel tetap dipertahankan karena tingkat pemahaman taktis mereka yang tinggi.

"Up front, Saka, Dembele and Kvaratskhelia have all missed games this season through injury." ungkap Luke Brown.

Bek sayap PSG dinilai memberikan ancaman serangan yang lebih masif dibandingkan opsi bek sayap yang dimiliki oleh Arsenal saat ini.

"But, now fully fit, they offer a perfect blend of trickery, explosive pace and end product." kata Luke Brown.

"Arguably Arsenal’s player of a title-winning season, Raya gets the nod over PSG’s Matvey Safonov in goal, and is protected by his centre-back pairing of William Saliba and Gabriel." tulis Luke Brown.

Lini depan PSG diakui sangat mematikan, sehingga Luke Brown menjatuhkan pilihan utama kepada Doue, Dembele, dan Kvaratskhelia di sektor serang tim gabungannya.

"The pair have been such a solid duo at the back for Arsenal this season and have such a high level of understanding between each other (not to mention the threat they offer at set pieces) that, despite Marquinhos and Pacho having strong claims, I’m keeping them together." jelas Luke Brown.

"PSG’s flying full-backs are integral to the French side’s attacking prowess and pose a bigger threat than whomever Arsenal opt for at full-back." kata Luke Brown.
