Delegasi AS dan Iran Gelar Perundingan Damai di Swiss

Delegasi Amerika Serikat dan Iran memulai babak baru perundingan damai sementara di Bürgenstock, Lucerne, Swiss, pada Minggu (21/6/2026) waktu setempat dengan mediasi dari negara Teluk dan Pakistan. Pertemuan tingkat tinggi ini tetap berjalan meskipun diwarnai ketegangan regional akibat ancaman serangan militer terbaru dari Presiden AS Donald Trump.

Anggota tim negosiasi Iran, Hussein Gurbanzadeh, menyatakan bahwa pembicaraan pada hari pertama tersebut mencakup beberapa poin krusial mengenai hubungan ekonomi kedua negara. Berita mengenai jalannya diskusi awal ini disiarkan langsung melalui saluran televisi resmi pemerintah Iran.

"there was and is no restriction on IDF soldiers in Lebanon to act to eliminate threats" kata Menteri Pertahanan Israel, Israel Katz.

Pernyataan dari pihak Israel tersebut menegaskan komitmen operasional militer mereka di Lebanon selatan yang berjalan simultan dengan diplomasi AS-Iran. Sementara itu, Suriah mengambil sikap berbeda terkait dinamika regional dan kelompok bersenjata di Lebanon.

"The crisis in Lebanon is very serious and there is a deadlock in political solutions," tutur Sharaa kepada media berita Arab Al Mashhad.

"Syria offers a different approach to solving it, but the most important thing is first of all to stop the war," lanjut Presiden Suriah, Ahmed al-Sharaa.

"The solution for Lebanon will not come through war and the bombing of cities. President Trump expressed concern about the current situation in Lebanon, and his words were misunderstood. He spoke about Syria’s role in seeking a safe and peaceful solution, but people understood him as if Syria would enter Lebanon tomorrow morning." tambah Ahmed al-Sharaa.

"Our vision is based on restoring support for the Lebanese state, strengthening its institutions, and seeking a solution that everyone can believe in. Stopping what is happening in Lebanon now requires creative solutions, not traditional and outdated ones." ucap Ahmed al-Sharaa.

Di sisi lain, Perdana Menteri Israel Benjamin Netanyahu menegaskan urgensi zona keamanan di Lebanon selatan dalam sebuah forum kebijakan internasional di Yerusalem. Kebijakan ini diambil di tengah desakan agar Israel memisahkan urusan militer di Lebanon dengan perkembangan diplomasi Washington-Teheran.

"As long as we need to protect our people, we will remain in the security zone in South Lebanon. And the reason is perfectly understood. No country would be asked to do otherwise," ujar PM Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu.

"What would America do? Would it say, well, there’s nothing we can do? Let’s hold our fire?

Is that what America would say? No! You know damn well what America would do.

It would cross the border, create a security zone, kill the terrorists, and protect its people until the threat is removed. That’s exactly what we are doing." tegas Benjamin Netanyahu.

"goes to such lengths like the Israeli army to target terrorists and minimize civilian casualties." sebut Benjamin Netanyahu.

"We target the terrorists, but there are some civilian casualties in every such war, in every such urban warfare. And normally the ratio of noncombatants to combatants killed is about seven to one, eight to one," jelas Benjamin Netanyahu.

"We should be commended for it, not condemned. We do everything in our power to protect our people. We don’t have a war with Lebanon. We have a war with Hezbollah, who terrorizes Lebanon and seeks our destruction," pungkas Benjamin Netanyahu.
